What is kell factor explain with its definition and question solution :-

Kell factor are introduced by RCA engineers Kell, Bedford in1933.
We know that any picture or video are formed with the help of many pixels.

According to Dr kell the pixel are not arranged in ordinary minnar in any picture rather distributed it randomly. Hence a spot of scanning beam may cover some of pixel and some may be missed in way ,it is estimated by experiment that is 28% to 32% pixels are lost in way. This means not total pixel are reached at receiving point, that only 68% to 72% pixels are actually reach at destination point and they reproduce the scanning line. This type of effect is called kell factor.
According to this factor the number of active line is to be multiplied by factor variying from 0.68 to 0.72 to get the total number of line which are actually reproducing the pixel or, which are lost in the way this multiplying factor is called kell factor.
So kell factor play very important role Tv system and communication.

Question based on kell factor :-

Example :-

Number of Scanning line 100 find the kell factor .

Solution :-
Scanning line =100
    =100 × 0.6 , 100 × 0.72
    =68 , 72
